For bail amounts of $5,000 or less, the bond premium is 10% of the total bail. For bail amounts over $5,000, the premium is 7% plus a $150 fee. This fee is non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of the case.
For example, if bail is set at $50,000, the bond premium would be $3,650 (7% = $3,500 + $150 fee). The bail bondsman then guarantees the full $50,000 to the court.
